Tebet Eco Park is Always Crowded with Visitors on Weekends

The Tebet Eco Park, Tebet, South Jakarta is still a prima donna recreation place for Jakarta residents to spend their weekend vacation.
The number has decreased to 20,000 visitors per day on weekends
So far, the number of visitors who come to this park has always experienced a spike until the vehicle parking area is full.
Based on the latest data, the highest number of visitors to the park since its inauguration on April 23, 2022, reached 60,000 people. This spike occurred on May 22, 2022.

"The number has decreased to 20,000 visitors per day on weekends. Previously, it could hit more than 20,000," he expressed, Sunday (6/12).
He explained that the iconic bridge that connects the South and North sides of the park is a favorite spot for visitors. But, only 300 people were allowed on the bridge to anticipate unwanted things.
"We apply an open and close scheme as well as alert officers at each door. So you can know, if it's crowded, we'll close it," he explained.
Tebet Sub-district Head Dyan Airlangga uttered that he had coordinated with the South Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency (Sudinhub) to apply traffic engineering around the park.
At this time, several parking areas were also provided to accommodate vehicles for visitors to the park. Among them were parking areas of Tebet Eco Park (TEP), Harum Tebet Flat, Bina Remaja Taruna Jaya 1 Social House belongs to Jakarta Social Agency, SMPN 73, SMK Muhammadiyah 7, and Graha Pratama.
He added that personnel from the Satpol PP and Sudinhub also routinely monitor the park area from 6 AM to 8 PM. The number of personnel is added every weekend and holidays.
"We urge residents who want to visit the park to use public transportation or mass transportation," he added.
Erwin (30), a resident of Kelapa Dua, Depok admitted that it was his first time visiting Tebet Eco Park. Together with eight members of his family, they were satisfied to visit the park.
“Initially, I deliberately delayed coming here because it was still very crowded. It's still crowded now. This is natural because the place is good. Lots of photo spots and kid-friendly too," he admitted.
